  • [Freshness]: our clay for pottery is vacuum sealed to maintain its freshness and humidity.
  • [Firing]: This clay must be fired in a ceramic pottery kiln (cone 06 = 1,828 Fahrenheit = 998 Celcius). It is not designed to be fired in a normal kitchen oven.
  • [Details]: When wet, the color is grey; after it's fired, it will turn white. The texture is smooth and pliable. You will find it very easy to work with.
  • [Shrinkage]: the clay will shrink on average 5.5% after being fired, due to water evaporation.
