SMS Program Terms
These terms govern Penguin Pottery staff alerts, the text message program Penguin Pottery LLC uses to send work notifications to its employees at the mobile number they provide to the Company, as described in the employee handbook. Receiving these texts is subject to these terms.
What we send
Weekly schedules, open shifts, announcements, and answers when you reply to a schedule text. Reply C to a schedule text to confirm your shifts.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies.
Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. Penguin Pottery does not charge for these texts; your mobile carrier may charge for the messages you send and receive.
Help
Reply HELP to any Penguin Pottery text for help, talk to your manager, or email hr@penguinpottery.com.
Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any Penguin Pottery text to stop receiving texts. Reply START to receive them again.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How employees opt in
Employees agree to work text messages by signing the Employee Handbook online. Section 4.12, Work Communications, describes the program. The employee types their full legal name and checks the acknowledgment box to sign. Shown with a sample employee name.
