  • Our glazes made in the USA by expert potters. They are lead-free, non-toxic and food safe (when properly fired and tested). Our low fire glazes are perfect for school projects, classrooms, studios, and potters who fire at cone 06 to cone 04. Sometimes glaze contents will settle. That's normal! Ceramic glazes need to be fully mixed to ensure smooth application. We recommend mixing for at least 1-2 minutes.
  • CONE 06–04 LOW-FIRE - Formulated for low-fire kilns at cone 06 to cone 04 (about 1828–1945°F). Always fire in a calibrated pottery kiln, never a kitchen oven, so your results match the swatch.
  • GLOSSY, SEMI-TRANSLUCENT FINISH - Fires to a glossy shine that lets some of the clay body show through, so color deepens where the glaze pools over edges, carving and texture.
  • READY TO BRUSH & LAYER - Ready to brush straight from the jar. Layer it over or under other glazes for new effects; test first, since thickness and firing change the result.
  • ART MATERIAL - Conforms to ASTM D-4236 art materials standard. Suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food or drink when fired to the specified cone on the product label. Crazing, pinholing or blistering makes a surface unsuitable; test your own clay and firing.
